Work has been crazy busy which is great considering I work for a nonprofit and being busy means that more medicines are going to help those in need around the world. Can't complain about that busyness!
We have been doing some projects around the house. Little things here and there like new pillows, new fixtures, new locks, and mostly just organizing! Learning to function in a new space has been really fun :)
Last weekend we hosted an open house/Valentines party for some friends. It was so much fun having tons of space for the party. In our old house, I was notorious for inviting so many people that our house would be busting at the seams! Didn't have that issue this time, and I so enjoyed it! Brian was in charge of coming up with a couple games for the party. This consisted of him looking up videos in a foreign language on YouTube and laughing the whole time while I was planning the menu. I pretty much let him run with the games. If it was making him laugh hysterically, it had to be good! My typically quiet husband proved to be an excellent game master. He planned a fun version of the newlywed game as well as some balloon games.
